Oldest and Newest Places on Earth
Movie Synopsis
It all started with a simple question: Is it possible to travel to the oldest and newest places on Earth? YouTuber, author and filmmaker Joe Scott looked into it, and it turned into the trip of a lifetime. Actually, billions of lifetimes. It's a journey of 10,000 miles and 4 billion years, and it tells the story of a planet that's constantly remaking itself, and the fragility of the life that inhabits it. It forces you to consider the ephemeral nature of our present world, and ponder the incomprehensible nature of deep time. It's a documentary about rocks that will give you an existential crisis. All told through Joe Scott's trademark wit and humor.
